Data’s are raw and not organize while information is organized and the compilation of data collected and was processed. Data Management is the process of ingesting, storing, organizing and maintaining the data created and collected by an organization according to Jack Vaughan. It has a huge impact to the decisions created by the company or users. Accurate data, accessible data and available data are needed by the corporate systems in which data management plays a big role because it is the one who facilitates the three.

Information Management was defined by Kelle O’neal as an organizational program that manages the people, processes and technology that provide control over the structure, processing, delivery and usage of the information required for management and business intelligence purposes.

Data management is all about how the data are collected, managed and being stored. It has a certain discipline which makes the data important and useful. Information management controls the information’s being delivered to different channels. As defined by Kelle O’neal, it must be an organizational structure which can manage information with different formats throughout the cycle of the information management.
